Ron McEntee was a long time industry veteran who initially started in the industry as a set-up leadman for I&D, Inc. (now Nth Degree) in the early 1980s.. After leaving I&D Ron worked for Poretta & James and Poretta & Orr as Account Executive. For the past 24 years, Ron worked as an Account Executive for Display Arts, Folio, Avalon, and ArtGuild. The company changed names but Ron never moved.
Ron passed away earlier this year after a courageous 5 year battle with cancer. During this time Ron continued to work and service his clients up until the last few months. Ron tried everything to fight back against this terrible disease, including treatments at Fox Chase and Yale Medical. And, even though he had good medical coverage his family sustained huge medical bills that they are still paying on a monthly basis.
