Rolando Garcia is the son of Fabian Garcia who works for Display Supply & Lighting. Rolando was first diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2016 and had surgery to remove the tumor at the end of that year. Because of the size of the tumor and its location in Rolando’s brain the doctors were unable to remove all of the tumor. As a result, Rolando has had 2 more surgeries to remove more of the tumor which has been followed with radiation and chemotherapy.
Because of the disabling nature of his disease, Rolando has been unable to work and is now on permanent disability. Rolando does have medical coverage but has a high deductible which needs to be met each year. Rolando’s wife does work full time but they still must rely on their family to help with the day-to–day expenses of raising 2 children.
